The Inauguration of the student’s association of CSE namely XMERON was happened on 04.11.2022, 09.30am at our Shastra Hall, JCET. The programme started with the brief introduction about the department and its student’s association.
Dr. U Vijaysankar, HoD of CSE welcomed Chairman and managing Trustee Adv. Dr. P Krishnadas, Secretary Dr. P. Krishnakumar in their absentia. He expressed welcome to our Chief Guest Mr. Advaid M Manoj, Senior Application Consultant, Oracle and Guest of Honor Ms. Anisha T S, Senior Product Engineer, L & T – Our distinguished alumni of 2012-2016 batch b Tech CSE. He extended his welcome to All faculty and Students of JCET and to all other members gathered in the venue.
The programme was presided by our Advisor Dr. K Radhakrishnan, Advisor – NGI-K. He stressed the importance of the programmes and events conducted through association chapter.
The Programme was Inaugurated by our Chief Guest Mr. Advaid M Manoj, Senior Application Consultant, Oracle. He stresses the importance of Mathematics in the field of CSE. After job practices required mathematics as the base. He also expresses his happiness of conducting programmes through students’ association as he was also a part of it during his studies.
In this programme, we honoured students who was the toppers in academics and also the Placed students.
The student, Ms. Mrudula K P who was the Individual Champion in Annual Sports meet also was honoured. Also, honoured the students who got third place in Zonal Badminton of KTU, Ms. Kshithy Ravindran, Arya Nath & Amitha Madhav.
The Principal Dr. N Gunasekaran felicitate the students. He also appreciated the work done by the students to their achievement. Ha also appreciated the students to conduct the programme in a better and different way. He insisted the students to make use of the guest to place in good companies.
The technical session was also delivered by our Chief Guest Mr. Advaid M Manoj, Senior Application Consultant, Oracle in the topic Oracle Digital Assistant. The importance of Chat Bots in the daily life is explained to the gathering.
The programme came to the end by the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Ayisha P, President XMERON.
