NOSF – Workshop on “Introduction to Kotlin”

The NGI Open Source Foundation (NOSF) is a new initiative by Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Jawaharlal College of Engineering & Technology, with an objective of protecting and promoting open source software, development and communities, championing software freedom in society through education, collaboration, and infrastructure, stewarding the open source. The NOSF is supported by Kerala Start-up Mission (KSUM).
The first official workshop of NOSF – “Introduction to Kotlin” was held on
12/11/2017. The Kotlin programming language offers big
advantages over Java for JVM and Android development, and soon going to replace
Java. The resource person for our workshop is Mr. Ajith V Giri (Application Developer,
Soft Fruit Solutions, Calicut). He is a member of Google Developers Group, Kozhikode
