On 24/05/2022 at 02:00 PM a fire mock drill was hosted by the NSS Unit No.251 of Jawaharlal College of engineering and technology in association with Fire and Rescue station Shornur. As Prayer is an important way to experience God as the religious believer, we started the program with a Manavageedham which was sung by our NSS volunteer Sanjay V. The main guests were the inspectors namely Ramadas sir, Akhil sir, and Rajesh sir. They performed few fire rescue safety methods and also took a very informative class regarding the fire safety measures to all of us… Our respected principal Dr. N Gunashekaran sir also had accompanied and supported them. All the teachers and nss volunteers were also present in today’s program and showed their active participation. It was unique experience to be there and the program ended with a vote of thanks given by NSS volunteer Amitha Mahadhav.
