The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, JCET is organizing a 5 days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) sponsored by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in offline mode from 05/12/22 to 09/12/22.
The title of the FDP is Processing of Satellite Imagery and Remote Sensing Data – Opportunities and Applications.
This FDP will introduce the participants to the state-of-the-art concepts and practices of remote sensing and GIS. It starts with the fundamentals of remote sensing and GIS and subsequently advanced methods will be discussed. This FDP is designed to give comprehensive understanding on the application of remote sensing and GIS in solving the research problems. Upon completion, the participants should be able to use remote sensing (satellite images and field data) and GIS in their future research work.
This FDP is open to faculty members / research scholars, who aspire to specialize in remote sensing applications, from engineering colleges affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala
