Clean environment is an indicator of progress of human beings and with the motto of clean environment, the Government of India has initiated ‘Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan’. The NSS unit 251 of Jawaharlal College of engineering and technology has taken this opportunity and initiated a cleanliness drive inside the college campus. As a part of regular NSS activities our NSS unit has organized cleanliness drive in the college campus and across the approach road. The activity started from the main entrance. The volunteers also removed the grass and weeds, and picked up all the plastic garbage from both sides of the road. The drive concluded around 12pm. Total 45 volunteers have participated in this event.
