GUEST TALK SESSION ON AVIATION MANAGEMENT.

The session started by 11:30 am in Shastra Hall,Jawahar College of Engineering and Technology,Lakkidi on 28-2-2024.Welcome speech was delivered by Dr.Ashokan.C,Head of department MBA.The Chief guest was prominent resource person Dr.Joemon Pappachan,MBA,M.sc.(Psy)M.phil,Ph.D Associate professor and programe coordinator,CIASL Academy.Anchoring was done by Aswathy Unni,second year MBA. The  session includes several topics  that are directly and indirectly relating to aviation industry and generally related to business industries,discussion on business operation made the students aware on the major trends in the operation department of aviation.Aviation scenario before COVID 19 aviation was growing steadily yet predominently in Asia Pacific region,statistics on air transport demand-passenger traffic,airport costs,global passenger traffic projections and future trends were also discussed.Speaker also pointeed out the customer satisfaction,opportunies,scopes for both career and business related aspects and gave a broader definition to it which helped the students to improve knowledge on aviation management.Further he proceedes to the topic on manufacturing as well as distribution of aircrafts and their total quality management.It was an interactive session,question and answer session was also conducted.It helps us to analyze the impact of regulatory changes on aviation operations,evaluate risk management strategies in aviation,understanding of key principles in aviation safety management,including risk assessment and mitigation.Momento was handed over to the chief guest by Dr Ashokan C and Raj Sheshadri.Program was well organised by faculties of JBS.Vote of thanks was delivered by Keshav Krishna second year MBA.
