Founded by the late Chairman Shri P. K. Das, JCET is built on the strong 50-year educational legacy of the Nehru Group of Institutions. JCET holds the distinction of being the first engineering college in Kerala to introduce Aeronautical Engineering.
The NGI Technology Business Incubator (TBI), located at Palakkad and powered by the Government of India and NSTEDB, is supported by a funding of ₹20 crore to promote entrepreneurship and nurture budding start-ups.
