Induction Ceremony Inspires a New Generation of Engineers and Architects.

Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology (JCET) and Nehru College of Architecture (NCA) conducted the Induction Ceremony 2026 at the P.K. Das Auditorium, Jawahar Gardens, Lakkidi, to welcome the newly admitted students. The programme began with a one-minute silent prayer in memory of the Founder Chairman, Late Shri. P. K. Das, followed by a universal prayer. Prof. Dr. N. Gunasekaran, Principal, JCET, delivered the welcome address. The ceremony was inaugurated by Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chancellor, P.K. Das Deemed to be University, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius�India, and Chairman & Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions.
Prestigious alumni from the institutions shared their experiences and motivated the new students. The programme also featured Guruvandanam, honouring the teaching fraternity, and the felicitation of University Rank Holders and Department Toppers. Senior students shared their campus experiences, inspiring the newcomers with insights into academics and student life. Prof. Ar. Ganapathi Kammath, Principal, Nehru College of Architecture, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a Career Conversations session led by Mr. Jomy P. L., Career Expert and Aptitude Trainer, focusing on career planning, employability, and future opportunities.
